Q. Talk about just today and how well you played, got off to a hot start and kept it going.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Definitely nice to get off to that start. You know, Jon has had a really good week so far, so to get off to that start and put him down early was big.

Q. Did you feel a psychological change in the match when you put him down early? Did that change the dynamic of the match?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I'm sure that's not how he expected the start to go. I was feeling pretty good to start the day and just happy to hit some really good shots and make some putts. It was a good feeling. Came into the day confident and I was able to get the job done.

Q. Talk about the week overall.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah it was a great experience. Paired well with Bryson for best-ball, and we had a lot of fun. We were actually unfortunate to only get a point and a half, but other than that we played some solid golf and I think that's shown today. He's up in his match as well. We feel pretty good.
