BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

September 9, 2021

Laurie Canter

Virginia Water, Surrey, England

Wentworth Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. A round of 67 to start but playing in your first BMW PGA Championship, what's it feel like to be here?

LAURIE CANTER: It feels great. Obviously grew up just down the road to watched it loads and loads. Come as a junior.

Q. Great to have all the fans back out here again?

LAURIE CANTER: Yeah, it was great. Felt a little twitchy, but it's nice to have crowds to play in front of.

Q. A few missed cuts coming in here but you found something quite clearly out there. What's turning your way again?

LAURIE CANTER: I haven't been that bad. I've missed three cuts in a row, but I haven't felt like my game has gone badly. Just coming out the right side of shots and it's difficult, sometimes you feel like you're spiraling.

But truthfully I haven't felt like my game is that bad. So I just tried to stay true to what I feel works and then, yeah, today, felt good.
