Q. Pat, what feeling does this first tee give you?
PAT HURST: This is awesome. This is what Team USA needs. We want loud, loud, loud. Turnout like this on the first tee is awesome.
Q. What was the conversation with the team this morning? I know you and Beanie keep everything close to your chest, but give us a little bit of an insight.
PAT HURST: Yeah, we didn't really talk much about team strategy this morning. It more last night, and more about attitude, ready to go, and one point at a time.
Q. How were the girls feeling? What was the mood like?
PAT HURST: I think last night everybody was tired so we kind of get well rested for this morning, everybody is ready to go. Like I said, one match at a time, one point at a time.
Q. Your team had an emotional Saturday afternoon; bit of a rally on Sunday. What was the mood of the team going into singles today and what was your final message?
PAT HURST: I think we're all ready to go. They're well rested and ready to go. We want to go out and get one point at a time. We're really. We're going.
Q. You were part of a team as a player that came from 9-7 down in singles to win and you were an assistant captain when your team came from 4-down to win. Is there a special recipe for a comeback?
PAT HURST: No. We just know that it's possible and we like our lineup. We know that we have all played like we know how to play.
Q. You put Lexi out first. Why?
PAT HURST: Just because we need her out first. We need to get some red up there early on, what's what we wanted to do with Lexi.
Q. You said Nelly is team leader of this team after this amazing year. How important is that at least half point if Nelly?
PAT HURST: Any point, even if it's just a half, is important in Solheim Cup. The more points we get the better it is.
