Q. The last time that we played on U.S. soil, Suzann, you had to not play, and who took your place but Catriona Matthew, and now she's the captain of the winning team. What can you say about Catriona?

SUZANN PETTERSEN: Yeah, the best skipper, just a pleasure to be a part of this team; so talented. We come here with literally no support in the crowd and we just win it outright. So proud of these girls.

Q. Which was more nervous, standing over a putt at Gleneagles or watching them play, your troops?

SUZANN PETTERSEN: By far trying to get the math right today. Unbelievable.

Q. What does this mean for the European team?

SUZANN PETTERSEN: I mean, this is massive. We've never retained the Cup on U.S. soil. To come here under these circumstances with literally -- we literally had 12 players and our helpers supporting the European team.

It was just a pleasure to be here, to be able to play, to be honest.
