Q. Elaine, day 2, can you summarize your thoughts on the GB&I girls today?

ELAINE RATCLIFFE: Yes, we weren't quite here this morning. America came out strong and we didn't push them and they got some really good wins.

This afternoon we took our time and then I think those back 10 holes we played some really good golf. To be fair to the American team, they did as well. We got one point out of the afternoon, yes, more would have been lovely, but I think the best thing about this afternoon was there was some really good golf played and I think we pushed them to play even better golf. So, yeah, sun's shining, we're happy, we're going into tomorrow level, yeah, let the fun begin again tomorrow.

Q. All even heading into the final day, are the girls excited for the singles?

ELAINE RATCLIFFE: Yes, very much so. Very much so. Everybody's got their role, everybody knows what they have got to do. And, obviously, we know we've got to get points on the board, but we're looking forward to the challenge. This is what they have dreamt about doing, going out on the final day with an opportunity to win the Cup. And that, they will seal their own fate and I'm looking forward to a really stunning day of golf, really, of good, competitive golf with blue skies. Possibly a little bit warmer if it could be. (Laughing).

Q. Obviously all the girls have been fantastic this week and as you say they have all got their role to play and they're all doing their part, but Hannah Darling, the youngest player on the team, she's playing some superb golf this week, isn't she?

ELAINE RATCLIFFE: Oh, she is. She is. She's taken it to them, yeah, she really has. She's playing some shots when she needs to, she's holing some putts when she needs to and she has a steely determination, which is second to none. So we are so fortunate to have her on our team. She's great in the team room, she's great out on the golf course and she plays with a lot of heart and you can't ask for any more than that.
