Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, UK
THE MODERATOR: How do you feel going into the weekend? You're well-placed.
BROOKE HENDERSON: It was nice to get 4-under on the front nine today. That was nice. Unfortunately I dropped a shot on 16. That's a really tough hole but happy to be climbing up the leaderboard a little bit and hopefully I can go out over the weekend and continue to play smart and make some birdies.
THE MODERATOR: You've obviously had success in major championships, 2016, how do you feel about making a charge this weekend?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, I would love to win this event. Might not be this weekend but at some point in my career. This is definitely on my bucket list. This would be really special. I'm not used to playing links golf growing up in Canada. Over last few years I really enjoyed the challenge of it and learning how to play different shots and I feel I'll have to play really well this weekend but hopefully things go my way.
THE MODERATOR: The experience of Carnoustie, how do you find it, and maybe the lack of wind has helped?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, conditions have been really great the last two days, which has been really nice and been trying to take advantage of it, not as much as I would have liked but depending on what happens this weekend, you know, just try to judge the conditions as well as we can.
Britt's been great helping me with different club selections and lines when the wind has picked up a little bit, so hopefully just continue to work well together and like I said with, Nelly just teeing off now, she's probably going to go pretty low, and a lot of other players this afternoon. So I'll probably be quite a few shots back but anything can happen over two days.
