Quick Quotes

Q. So what's that like overnight waiting for this to start over again after you're out will all day?

TRAVIS VICK: It's pretty brutal having to, you know, play until dark and you wake up at 5:00 a.m. just to get a 7:15 or 7:25 start.

The main objective was try to stay healthy this week with all the stops and starts, yeah.

Q. And then playing against your teammate, and I know you guys have some internal matches you call Massinghill matches.

TRAVIS VICK: Yeah.

Q. Are there some similarities to that or more on the line in your mind?

TRAVIS VICK: Yeah, so we have a thing like the Massinghill Cup, which is like an inner squad deal, and basically everybody plays everybody and whoever wins wins what coach calls the Massinghill Cup.

Out here I wasn't thinking about the Massinghill Cup, but it was kind of structured like that. I wish we would play each other deeper in match play and not so early.

Parker is a great player. He missed a couple short ones on 14 and 15 which gave me the edge this time.

Q. What did you do well in the match today, or yesterday?

TRAVIS VICK: I putted well. You know, all week I been hitting my irons great, ball striking is great, hitting the driver great, and my putter has just been a little sketchy. This match against Parker I made a lot of nice putts, especially for par.

Q. Do you think there was a certain hole that turned the tide your way in the match?

TRAVIS VICK: That's a good question. I would say 14. He three-putted 14 which put me at 1-up with only a few holes to play. If he wouldn't have three-putted that I think the outcome might have been a little different.

Q. He talked about yesterday you guys meeting in the Maridoe.

TRAVIS VICK: Yeah.

Q. There was a little friendly back and forth about that.

TRAVIS VICK: Yeah, no, he got me at the Maridoe Am couple years ago. Maybe it was last year. I don't even remember. He beat me 2&1, so have to kind of turn the tide this time.
