Q. You're a quarterfinalist. How does that feel?

EMILY MAHAR: It's really, really awesome. I've played three -- two or three other Ams and this is the furthest I've ever made it. Each day, each round from here is another win, so, yeah.

Q. What have you learned about the course that you can take into tomorrow?

EMILY MAHAR: I think just good places to miss it, holes that I can like really attack and holes that getting by with a par and sometimes even a bogey is really, really good.

Not to really get ahead because anything can happen.

Q. Have you had a lot of support from people at home, text messages when you finish?

EMILY MAHAR: Uh-huh. Yeah, as soon as I finish my phone has been blowing up, and coaches and teammates have been sending videos from TV. It's really cool. I can definitely feel the support.
