Quick Quotes

Q. You enjoy match play. Why?

BROOKE SEAY: I think it's just a completely different mentality even though you're playing the same course and playing the same game.

There is just a lot more pressure or feels like there is a lot more pressure. I think that's really fun. It just makes you more focused.

And usually the course plays a bit differently. Played a lot differently today. I think the pin were harder, moved some tees up, which was really interesting. So I think that's really fun.

And I think my favorite part is if you're still playing you can still win. Coming back is always really fun. You never really want to be down logically, but I kind of like that mentality of always fighting back.

It just feels really competitive.

Q. Talk us through your match a bit today and how you felt your game was.

BROOKE SEAY: I think my game is pretty good. I didn't play my best, but I think I'm hitting it pretty solid. Yeah, I think just figuring out the course. I think the first match a hardest shifting from stroke play to match play mentality.

Yeah, switching over to that in my head was good. I think my game is in a good position, and just review some things, how it went, and prepare for tomorrow.
