NASCAR CUP SERIES: FOXWOODS RESORT CASINO 301

July 18, 2021

Christopher Bell

Loudon, New Hampshire

Front Stretch

An Interview with:

Q. Almost had the weekend sweep, winning the Xfinity Series race yesterday. A couple laps short today. Had it gone the distance, do you feel like you had a shot at it?

CHRISTOPHER BELL: Yeah, I didn't know how many laps they cut it short. Definitely when I saw the board, saw that we were eight laps short, it stings, man. I felt like I probably had a little bit better pace than him, able to get to him. Lap cars were giving him a bad time. If I was able to get to him... It was going to be a heck of a race.

Really proud of everyone on this Rheem, PristineAuction Camry. Everyone id on this 20 group, we didn't start out the greatest, then we were really good, the best we were right there all day at the end of the race. All you can ask is to have a shot at it. Wish we had eight more laps.

Q. We watched you all weekend. Your car was working everywhere. Where do you feel you were better even than these Penske Fords so strong throughout the day?

CHRISTOPHER BELL: Yeah, I don't know. I fought a little bit of everything: a little loose in, a little loose off. I felt like my car cut the center probably better than theirs. That's where my speed was.

Yeah, I mean, I'm happy for Aric. That's cool for him to win. He's been close a couple times. Building on our program, too. Hopefully we can knock off a couple more wins here, too.
