Q. Do you want to give us your thoughts about the match today?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Sure. It was obviously a tough match. I thought that she played well. Obviously she has a good game to suit grass. It was tough, but I have to give her credit. She played a good match. Sometimes that's kind of all you can really do is fight and just didn't go my way today.

Q. We know you have been having some trouble with your knee. Do you think that was a factor at all today?

SLOANE STEPHENS: No, I went out and I said that I need to just compete and fight hard. I did just that and tried not to let anything get in my way and just compete and fight hard.
