A. KERBER/K. Muchova
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. What did you make of today's match? Had plenty of opportunities.
KAROLINA MUCHOVA: Sorry, what did you say?
Q. What did you make of today's match? Seemed like you had a few opportunities on Kerber's serve but couldn't take them in the end.
KAROLINA MUCHOVA: Yeah, I think I wasn't patient enough today as I wanted to be, as I planned it before match. I didn't really stick to the plan. I was rushing a lot.
Yeah, I think that's why I, yeah, didn't make them. I had many breakpoints as well and I didn't convert it. Yeah, she played solid and good on those points. I was just rushing and making mistakes.
Q. Overall fairly happy with quarterfinals, second in a row at Wimbledon?
KAROLINA MUCHOVA: Yeah, on one side I'm happy. On the other side I definitely aim for more here. So, yeah, it's both-wise. I'm really happy I made quarters again.
Q. You spoke about being rushed. How much, or any of that, was caused by Angelique and the way she played, maybe didn't give you enough time sometimes?
KAROLINA MUCHOVA: Well, she's really good and really experienced player, especially on the grass. She won it here. Yeah, she didn't do many mistakes. She plays good angles. It was great match from her side. So definitely didn't help me.
But, yeah, from the start of the points I was just -- I think it was a little bit in my head, it was about me this rush kind of that I wasn't patient enough today. But then she went for it. Yeah, she just let me play and I was doing mistake by mistake.
Q. You say she's good on the grass. What is it that she does so well on this particular surface?
KAROLINA MUCHOVA: I think she's a great player overall on all surfaces.
As I mentioned, she play angles, and she play really low. It's not really jumping high on the grass. That's definitely advantage for her, yeah.
