Q. Kevin, 68 today, one of the best rounds we've seen. What was working for you?

KEVIN SUTHERLAND: I started hitting it better, and I made a couple nice saves from the bunker early in the round. Also, I kind of got a little momentum on the back. You can make a little bit of a run with birdies on 13, 14, 16, and 17. I took advantage of some of those holes, but I kind of hung in there in the front and kind of gave myself a chance to make some birdies on the back.

Q. Looks like you should be top five going into the weekend. How's that look for you?

KEVIN SUTHERLAND: First day I hit the ball so poorly and managed to shoot 2-over. Today I feel a lot better about how I hit it, so I'm more encouraged by today's round obviously. It gives me a little bit of confidence going into the last two.

Q. We've heard a lot of talk about the heat and the hills. How are you holding up? Is it a challenge?

KEVIN SUTHERLAND: I feel okay. It's a challenge, the heat as much as anything when you compound it with the walking, but it's hot. It's definitely going to take a toll on us.
