Q. Russell, what were the keys to your round today?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, I hit it great off the tee. I put myself in a few bad positions and didn't try to do anything crazy and just got the ball back in play and ended up making pars. I feel like overall the majority of the time I was hitting it great, and then when I wasn't, I just didn't compound the error.

Q. What are you most pleased with in your own game this week?

RUSSELL HENLEY: I'd just say how patient I am. Everything feels really good, but I feel really patient, feel confident in what I'm doing, and see if I can have a few more putts go in.

Q. The John Deere Classic is celebrating 50 years. What is it about this golf course or this place that you enjoy?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Well, it's in perfect shape. The few times I've played, perfect shape. I think it's run really well. It's really efficient. The food is great. Fans are really nice, and the golf course is really fun. There's a lot of fun shots. There's a drivable par-4. You hit all the clubs in your bag. I think it's just a fun event.
