Quick Quotes

Q. How did today's round feel compared to yesterday's?

KENT JONES: I guess both were pretty similar, I think. I think we were lucky in that yesterday morning there wasn't much wind until the very end, and then today the wind died again. So other than being hotter, I think the way the wind was, we've been lucky without much wind. I thought the course played pretty similar. It started to dry out a little bit today.

Q. Could you describe the last few holes you had before the turn. I notice you had a couple birdies.

KENT JONES: So I was playing good. I started on 10, and I made par, so that was big. It's such a hard hole. So that helps. I hit some okay shots and then hit it really good on 15. I made a nice putt and knocked it on 16 in two. They had the tee up, which kind of surprised me. Instead of a two-putt birdie, I bogeyed 17. But then I hit it close on 18. So it was nice to make a bogey and then bounce right back with a birdie. So that was a nice finish to that nine.

I still played okay on the front. I had one bad shot that cost me, but other than that, I'm doing fine.

Q. What do you do for tomorrow?

KENT JONES: Just rest. I'm done for today. Just rest and see what happens with the weather. The forecast wasn't great, so we'll see. Just get some rest and get ready to go out again.
