Quick Quotes

Q. A lot of pars out there today. It seemed like that was kind of the way the afternoon went, maybe a little tougher scoring conditions. Can you speak on that at all?

BERNHARD LANGER: I think the greens were not very good in the afternoon. They're softish and whatever, and slow. So it was hard to make putts, I think. We didn't make anything or very little, all three of us. Got three of the best players on the Tour here. So that was the main reason. The wind kicked up, I guess more so than the morning, and wind always makes it a little tricky. I think there was scores out there today. It would have been -- 3 to 5-under would have been fairly easy, possible.

Q. Feel a little better about playing in the morning tomorrow?

BERNHARD LANGER: Yeah, I hope so. I hope the greens will be better, make some putts. Hard to score when you can't make putts.

Q. What else do you think is key out there?

BERNHARD LANGER: Hitting fairways and -- fairways and greens is important with all the holes. You don't want to do what I did on 10, make a double bogey with no penalty shots and just hit it in the wrong place. You want to avoid the big numbers. Make a bogey or two, but hopefully avoid the big numbers and make a few birdies.
