Q. It seemed like the conditions maybe were a little tougher with the wind this afternoon.

ROCCO MEDIATE: Got some wind out there, but it was good. I was pleased with everything.

Q. Did it seem like you just avoided making mistakes?

ROCCO MEDIATE: Yeah, a lot of fairways, a lot of greens. I made some really nice par putts, but just didn't quite make -- I had a couple good opportunities coming in to get it under, but I just didn't quite make them. It was tough.

Q. What do you think you need to do better tomorrow?

ROCCO MEDIATE: I've got to read a couple. Just misread a couple. Smoked one on 16 downhill, because I'm making this, and I made that one coming back. Just a little off there. But pretty good most of the way. Drove good, a lot of greens. Just got to keep it in front of you. It's a great test. The wind was up. It was cooking pretty good. So that's good.

Q. Top 10 in your last major. What's it take to --

ROCCO MEDIATE: I guess fairways and greens here. Pars are a good score here. There's a couple of low scores, but this golf course is brutal. If you're offline some -- I had a pretty simple looking pitch on 18. I hit it kind of like I wanted; I had 12 feet. That's just the way it is. You've got to be more exact or not hit it there. Right? That's how it is.
