THE MODERATOR: Tough match today. Just talk us through that comeback and how pleased you are to be in the semifinals here in Eastbourne.

ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, very, very tough match today. I felt like I really had to fight for everything. Yeah, I think she played great. I think her game style really suits the grass, so it was very difficult.

But I felt like I sort of stuck with her in the second set and then managed to, you know, get a few good points. It was just so close. Everything was on edge very much. Yeah, very happy to get through that tough match and be in the semifinals.

Q. Can you just talk about what you think has really been clicking for you this week in Eastbourne?

ANETT KONTAVEIT: Well, the matches have been quite different, I think. But, you know, I have just been -- I have never been giving up. I have just always tried to do my best on a given day.

I think, you know, trying to stay positive in any situation is sort of what's really pushed me through these few matches this week.

Q. You mentioned the match today about it being a bit on a razor's edge and really, really small margins. It feels like the margins get even smaller on this surface because points can go real quick and everything like that. How much of a boost is it to get through a match like this, particularly because they can go the other way so quickly, you know?

ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, definitely. I mean, I think these close matches give a lot of confidence and, you know, there is another match on grass before Wimbledon starts, so it's definitely really good to have that.

I'm very excited to have won that really difficult match.

Q. Looking ahead, facing Camila, different type of match, different type of player. What's the challenge of playing her?

ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, well, she hits the ball extremely hard and goes for a lot, so I'm going to have to be ready for it. Take my chances when I can and try and be extremely consistent.

Q. In terms of your season overall, what does it mean for you to make the semifinals in Eastbourne?

ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, it's been a bit of a difficult year, I feel like. Yeah, I'm just really happy to win three really good matches actually. You know, especially before Wimbledon, as well, I think it's giving me a good boost.
