S. TSITSIPAS/P. Carreno Busta
6-3, 6-2, 7-5
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. I have a question about Roger Federer's withdrawal. You have understandably, I'm sure you have heard of that. What is your reaction to that? Is that a legitimate move? Is there an ethical issue with him withdrawing while he's still clearly fit? What was your reaction?
PABLO CARRENO BUSTA: My reaction about the withdrawal from Roger?
PABLO CARRENO BUSTA: I didn't know. Is the first news that I have. I watched his match yesterday until the third set.
I don't know the reasons why he retired. I don't know if he's injured or something. I don't know.
Q. If he's not injured, do you feel it's correct of him or incorrect of him to withdraw, or is there an ethics issue?
PABLO CARRENO BUSTA: Well, I don't know. Roger have a lot of experience playing these kind of tournaments. He knows better than anybody how he's feeling and how is his body. So if he decide to retire he's probably thinking about, I suppose, about the grass season.
I don't know. It's his decision. I cannot say if it's good or not. I can say that I prefer to play 100% here and not in the grass season, but probably he prefer to be 100% of the grass season. I don't know.
