Q. Just tell us a little bit about your week.

XIYU LIN: I think this week it's, I mean, obviously a really good week for me. I never really have like really, really good finish on the majors, but, I mean, how I get into this tournament, it's really rewarding.

And, I mean, this year I been playing some really good golf, so I come in this week with excitement pressure at the same time. The excitement is like I feel like I'm a completely new player. I'm looking forward to see how I can do.

But the pressure is seeing the records previous years. I only make one cuts before this week in U.S. Open.

So overall I think this week is unbelievable, especially today, the way I'm playing. And I don't know, am a Top 10 or something like that?

Q. Top eight right now, yeah.

XIYU LIN: Honestly I tell myself yesterday, I said, Please just let me have one under par round, and this is all my goal today. I mean, just simply achieving that goal is already very satisfying.

Q. What did you think of the Olympic Club and being here in San Francisco?

XIYU LIN: Oh, my God, this is such great club and I'm so lucky the director of golf here, Richard, he used to work in the National Team when I was in the team, so he was my coach before.

So at the practice round he gave me lots of help. And, I mean, have someone kind of walk around with me, it's really like important. And then I feel like this course is definitely championship standard course and the green is in great shape.

And then everything is amazing and then the hospitality, it's so great. I think it's one of the best I ever had experience.
