Quick Quotes

Q. Megan, can you just walk us through your round today, how it went.

MEGAN KHANG: Okay. Sorry, I had to think about how I started. I was like, oh, no, it was good. Right off the bat, gave myself a little test to get the blood going. I just really tried to stay patient out there, tried to capitalize on some holes that gave us a shorter club in, and really just tried to kind of play smart around this golf course and try to hit the fairways because, if you don't, there's a couple shots out there that you can just punch out.

Q. Couple of thoughts on how the course played today.

MEGAN KHANG: Course is great. I'd expect nothing less than how hard it is at a U.S. Women's Open. Course is well, I mean, even in the afternoon you've got a little more roll than had been playing in the practice round. Just had to calculate for that throughout the round, and really just the greens firmed out throughout the day. Had to play for that as well.

Q. Anything in your game you're going to want to try to change for tomorrow?

MEGAN KHANG: As a golfer, everyone knows you're never satisfied. Definitely going to go work on some putting, in that sense, like lag putting, and definitely some drives out there.
