U.S. WOMEN'S OPEN

June 3, 2021

Jennifer Kupcho

San Francisco, California, USA

The Olympic Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Jennifer, can you tell me how the course is playing today versus practice rounds?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Honestly, I thought it played way easier today. They moved a lot of tees up, and I don't think I had more than a 7-iron into a par-4.

So it's definitely a little bit different than the practice rounds.

Q. How's Olympic stack up against other major championship venues that you've played?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: I think it's definitely just as hard. I mean, I honestly feel like Thursday's always the easiest at the U.S. Open, and someone goes out and shoots 5-under and they come out the next day and say that's not happening.

It will definitely be tough tomorrow. That's exactly how they usually do it.

Q. Prior to this week, have you had a chance to play Olympic before?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: I haven't, no.

Q. Anything special you worked on with your game coming into this week?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Not really. I kind of just treat every tournament as the same, come out and try to play my best in all parts of my game. If one part's not good, it's not going to be good overall.

Q. The state of your game through the year, how's your year going?

JENNIFER KUPCHO: Pretty good. It definitely could be better, but I feel like I'm playing pretty good, solid.
