Q. Nasa, 3&1 win on day one of the Bank of Hope match play. Started off two back on the first two, but rebounded and went on a tear through the middle of the round. Take us through the mindset when you fell behind early.
NASA HATAOKA: I started out with a miss and my swing wasn't too well. Then I started to adjust to that and I kept thinking not missing and not missing and just go towards the pin, and that was what the result was like.
Q. Good results once you got that going. Take us through holes 8 through 11 when you went birdie, birdie, par, par, to win four straight holes and get from 1-down to 3-up.
NASA HATAOKA: As for 8 to 9 I was able to do my best iron shots so I think was able to win those with my shots.
For 10 and 11, those are tough holes, so I was lucky that I got pars and I was lucky to be able to go on and win those holes.
Q. You were able to kind of cruise on in this the rest of the way to win 3&1. Do you feel that you found the right mechanics in your swing to feel good about your game going into day two?
NASA HATAOKA: I wasn't really confident with my shots, but I think as long as I keep adjusting the shots I should be able to go on to the second day to win it.
