FRANKIE CAPAN: Yeah.

Q. I think there were 17 birdies and one eagle. That's insane. You guys birdie eagled the first hole.

FRANKIE CAPAN: Yeah, we started off hot.

Q. You were up 4, I believe.

FRANKIE CAPAN: We were up 4 through 7. I think we were 6- or 7-under through 7.

SHUAI MING WONG: Yeah, 6-under through 7.

FRANKIE CAPAN: So we got off to a nice lead there, and then Preston made a good birdie on 8 and 9, and then we halved 10, we made a nice birdie on 11, halved 12 with birdies, halved 13 --

Q. You guys birdied 15, they birdied 16.

FRANKIE CAPAN: And then we just missed birdie on 17 and then both birdied 18, and then Preston birdied the second playoff hole.

Q. How long was his putt?

FRANKIE CAPAN: It was a good length putt, probably 20 plus feet.

SHUAI MING WONG: I'd say 25.

FRANKIE CAPAN: 24 to 25 feet.

Q. It's sad when one team has to go home when you're playing that well.

SHUAI MING WONG: Yeah, it definitely stings a little bit right now, but all in all, I feel like we played pretty solid.

Q. I guess you can't hang your head too low when you know you've played well and the other team just plays a hair better?

SHUAI MING WONG: Just a lot of fun. It's very rare to have that kind of like scenario where you just feel everything, like all the adrenaline, like all the emotions. I think we should definitely be proud of ourselves and move forward because we know what we're doing out here.

Q. Do you think you guys will come back next year?

FRANKIE CAPAN: We'll see. We'll see. One thing though is last night when we were out here putting before they closed everything up, we were just so thankful to be here. Such a neat championship. Something we cherish. I mean, I hope to be back.

Q. I think it's just like this year where it falls in between the regionals and the NCAAs. You've just got to get your coaches to approach it. I can't see why coaches wouldn't approve it. You're out here competing. I guess you could hurt yourself.

FRANKIE CAPAN: I think if we were in regionals this year, I think we wouldn't get a practice round or we'd miss one practice round. But I think it would still probably be worth it. But I don't know, kicking off a busy summer.

SHUAI MING WONG: About to. About to be seniors.
