Quick Quotes

Q. Moriya, 1-under 70 in the final round of the Pure Silk Championship. Solo second. Not the finish you were looking for. What are you feeling right now?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: I mean, it's still good week. You know, like to play in the lasts group on Sunday is always a good week. Of course it's not finish I wanted to, but, you know, I still going to take a lot of good things from here.

Q. You struck it so well all week and then you had the one bad hole today on 15. What happened in the bunker?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Well, I mean, just like doesn't hit a very good drive and went into the bunker and just kind of like it's fine, but maybe I just catch it a little too thin and the ball doesn't get up high enough.

So, yeah.

Q. And then you had a kind of plugged lie and couldn't advance from there?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Yeah. So just like the sand was so soft and pretty fluffy and it came back down and just like I have like not very good lie, so I just have to chip out.

Q. Great bounce back birdie at 17. Walk us through that one.

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Well, I just like just want to finish strong and I just don't want to go back home and I feel upset about anything.

So, you know, I think I just want to hit a good shot and then just I just want to -- just want to do it -- you know, just want to have fun and want to walk out 18 hole proud of myself.

Q. Yeah. And I know that you guys lost the mother of a family friend. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Yeah. It's just like my really, really close friends and I'm really, really close to her as well, and she just pass yesterday.

Q. What was her name?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Noneteri (phonetic) yeah.

Q. How did she pass away?

MORIYA JUTANUGARN: She fight through the cancer but it just like when she find out it was pretty late, so she find out maybe a month ago and it's just like a bad news after finish the round yesterday. Yeah.
