THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Talk about what it feels like to be back in Rome. I know we played last year but it was a different time. Now it feels a little bit more normal in its original time. Why don't you tell us how it feels to be back here.

ELINA SVITOLINA: This year it's a bit quicker coming around, and we just kind of played, feels like, not long ago here in Rome.

It's nice. It's one of my favorite tournaments to play here. Winning here twice definitely brings lots of good memories. Really happy to be playing here.

Q. We're kind of midway through the clay season. How do you feel you have been doing on the surface as we look forward to Roland Garros?

ELINA SVITOLINA: I think I had not a bad start. I played some good matches. Unfortunately didn't play so well in Madrid, but I had time to practice, to get stronger physically, and for now I just try to look forward for my next matches and to be ready for the tournaments that I'm gonna play.
