Q. What were the challenges in playing such a great competitor as Simona Halep this afternoon?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Well, I think she was better than me. That's the main thing.

She's a really good player, we all know. Yeah, I think she played really good. Was difficult to get into the match, and that's why I think she was way better than me.

Q. You had much fan support today. I know the cameras focused in several times on some of your Spanish teammates, Carla Suarez Navarro and I believe Paula Badosa was there too. How did it feel having fans in the stands cheering for you?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Yeah, it's super good for me. Playing in Spain with fans is always an amazing feeling, and I'm also really happy that Paula and Carla came to watch the match. Yeah, super happy with that.

Q. If there is anything that you could do over in the match today, what might you have done differently?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: I would start again in everything (smiling). Yeah, I think there is something I have to learn. She was better I think in every single part of the game, and I have to keep improving.
