THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You've done quite well on clay. Is this your best surface?

PAULA BADOSA: Well, if you look at the results, I have to say yes. But I feel quite comfortable in all kind of surface. But I think in clay I can hit a little bit like with more spin. I like to play with spin, especially with the forehand. So I quite like to play on clay.

As well, I like to play tactic. In clay, maybe you can apply that a little bit better. So, yeah, I think it could be my favorite surface.

Q. How much confidence does this give you winning in your home country in front of fans?

PAULA BADOSA: Yeah, it's nice. It's nice to play in front of fans and in my home crowd. It's amazing feeling. Of course, it's a little bit extra motivation. A little bit extra pressure, as well, because you want to show your people and win as well because you have everyone here.

It's a lot of emotions this week. I'm happy that I could get through the first round. I have a tough second round, so I will try to rest and be ready Saturday.
