U.S. WOMEN'S AMATEUR FOUR-BALL

April 27, 2021

Casey Weidenfeld

Carrollton, Texas, USA

Maridoe Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. So you guys had another incredible round. If I counted correctly there were four birdies. One of them happened on the hardest hole on the course, which is No. 12. Can you talk me through what happened there?

CASEY WEIDENFELD: So I think I hit -- did I hit -- driver. Okay. So I hit driver off the tee and my driver had been a little flaky on the front nine, but I managed to hit that one good.

I think I had an 8-iron in -- yeah, an 8-iron -- and I kind of went for a knock-down shot and I was trying to get it close and it was perfect. Exactly how I wanted it.

Q. How close did the ball end up to the hole?

CASEY WEIDENFELD: Like three feet.
