MASTERS TOURNAMENT

April 11, 2021

Sebastian Munoz

Augusta, Georgia, USA

Quick Quotes

Q. Kind of two stories today, no? The front nine and the back nine, completely two different stories.

SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: Yeah, I don't know. Just a lot of brain farts on the first seven holes. I don't know, didn't feel comfortable with the strategy, with the clubs we were pulling out of the bag, and I just went with it, and I got to 6-over. So yeah, and then I just committed to having fun on the back, hitting the shots that I wanted to hit, and shot 4-under. So pretty happy with that.

Q. Tell us how much fun you had 10, 11, 12 -- five birdies in six holes.

SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: Yeah, that was awesome. I got to play in my mind like I was fighting for the tournament and just make the hero shots on 11, on 13, a good -- I went from a divot on 15 and didn't care. It was pretty fun.

Q. Two Masters in like five months, how does that set you up for the rest of the season and the majors that are coming up?

SEBASTIAN MUĂ‘OZ: Yeah, I mean, it definitely teaches me that major golf is different than regular golf. There's no really safe play in major golf. I feel like you have to go at it, and you're going to just be lucky or not, depending on the day. That's how it's going to go. That's the way -- that's what I learned, and we'll see how it goes.
