Q. Thoughts on the round?

MARTIN LAIRD: I hit the ball excellent today. Really could have been a low one if I made some putts, but I unfortunately didn't. It's that type of golf course. I mean, I could have been 5-, 6-under through about 13 holes, 14 holes, but didn't make any. But you know, if I keep hitting it like this and have a nice day with the putter tomorrow, hopefully I can make a nice move because really my irons, that's about as well as I've hit my irons in a long time. If I can control my golf ball tomorrow, I think I'll get the putter heated up a little bit more, and have a good round.

Q. How much did the wind switch and swirl on you during the round, and what do you think they can expect as they make the turn?

MARTIN LAIRD: Well, I think they're about to blow the horn here, so maybe when the storm goes through there might not be any wind. It wasn't swirling as much today, it was just kind of picking up and dying down as opposed to coming from different directions. Earlier on it was a little breezy and it kind of died down for that middle stretch and then it got gustier the last couple holes, but I would say it wasn't anywhere near as tricky as Thursday where you really didn't know.

Q. And then lastly, you seem like you feel well heading into tomorrow. Pretty good expectations?

MARTIN LAIRD: Yeah, I kind of feel like every round this week I've played really well and kind of gotten the least out of it I could, so sometimes you have tournaments where you do that and then on the Sunday you make some putts and get the most out of it. I'm going to go out and have a fun day tomorrow, and if I make some of those looks I was giving myself today and do the same tomorrow, it could be a really fun day.
