Q. Well, Adam, second round 73 has you plus 3 for the tournament. You said yesterday felt like a grind. What did today feel like?

ADAM SCOTT: Flat out today didn't play particularly well. Didn't give myself many chances, so not much happening.

Q. Birdies 2 and 12. Golden Bell, one of the most beautiful holes on the course, and it was one of the best tee shots seen all day.

ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, too bad I missed that putt. You know, nothing really happening out there, didn't play particularly well.

Q. You wanted to make up some shots. You had 14 straight pars. What happened in that middle stretch there?

ADAM SCOTT: Just didn't hit it close enough. It's not easy putting from far around here. You don't expect to make much. In fact, you're just trying not to three putt. If I get a chance to play again, I'll have to hit a bit closer.

Q. You played alongside Bryson DeChambeau the last two days. Just how hard is he striking the ball for our listeners at home.

ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, he hits it hard, but it wasn't going that far really around here. He doesn't get any runs, so I can sneak it up there and not embarrass myself.
