Q. Can you just, first of all, just talk about how you found the course playing today, the conditions.

SI WOO KIM: First of all, it's really different, like five months ago. Like five months ago, soft and a little bit slow, versus now it's like super firm and fast. It's a little harder than like five months ago, I think, but it's good for me. I like the fast greens.

I had a good start at the front nine. That's why I can finish good.

Q. What are your overall thoughts on where you stand in the tournament and how you played?

SI WOO KIM: Everything's like pretty okay, and then I hit it good. I just escaped not losing my mind and just keep trying, keep trying, keep trying hard.

Q. Did you lose your mind at some point?

SI WOO KIM: No, I hope not.

Q. Tell us what you hit on 12.

SI WOO KIM: 12, like I just hit the green center. I'm not trying to make birdie, just trying to get on the green. It's a good shot there, and then the putting good, like 15 feet.

On 13, like hard tee shot because the trees blocked up the tee box, so I tried as hard as I can to hit a draw, and then it's not blinding by the tree at the second shot. That's why I can hit it easy to the green and then easy, it's only 15 feet. Just easy two-putt.

Q. What was your club on the second shot?

SI WOO KIM: 6 iron.
