Augusta, Georgia, USA
Q. How does it feel to be back here?
CATERINA DON: It's a huge honor to be back here, and you know, after last year, we were all really sad that this event could not go on. It's pretty amazing and it tells all the effort everyone has done starting from every player that can be here, Augusta National and all of our coaches, all of our family, to be able to play here and it's just amazing and a huge honor to be here again.
Q. What do you like most about this tournament?
CATERINA DON: I love that you get to compete against the best players in the world. There's 82 players this week and everybody who steps on the first tee is able to go out and win this event. It's just a really good competition. You get to play Augusta National and Champions Retreat. I think Champions Retreat is a really good golf course, as well. It's also everything that goes around it, being able to spend time with my family and my friends and enjoy something around golf that you don't get every tournament.
Q. What do you look forward to this week?
CATERINA DON: Just looking forward to going out there and go as low as I can and do my best and have a smile at the end of the week, that would be amazing. But even if golf doesn't go as well as it should go, it's still an amazing opportunity to tee off the ball tomorrow morning.
Q. What's it like to be out there with your teammates?
CATERINA DON: I have two teammates from Georgia and it's really nice and it shows how good our program is going to be and it is right now. We're really excited to be representing Georgia this week especially because we are in Georgia, and you know, go Dawgs.
Q. Is there any familiarity with the course? Have you played since then?
CATERINA DON: I played two years ago and we were able to come down thanks to somebody that hosted us two weeks ago, and we played 18 holes. But you know, it's just such a really good golf course, and it's just challenging, even if you get to play one time more.
Q. How are the nerves holding up?
CATERINA DON: I'm really excited to go out there and play. If I get to have nerves on the first tee on Saturday, they are more than welcome because that means I'll be top 30 and I'll be able to tee it up again at Augusta National. So I mean, I would love to have nerves again.
