THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. It was a long five-set match, came back from three sets to one down. What did you change in the fourth and fifth set?

JIRI VESELY: Well, it was a weird match, up and down. I had my chances in the second or the third set. Three set points at 5-4 I think in the third, so didn't take my chances, and the match started to turn around into the opponent's favor, and I was just a little bit lucky in the fourth and fifth to get the break back because he started to play great, and he literally didn't miss much.

This is tennis, how it goes. Sometimes you have so many chances, and if you don't take them, then the match goes away. I was really lucky and happy that I'm through.

Q. How is your body feeling after the first five matches of the season?

JIRI VESELY: It's not bad, actually. A little bit surprised. Maybe the weather helped because it wasn't really warm today. It was actually around 15, 16 degrees, which is quite cold. But maybe better, weather like that, than 40 degrees. I think it would kill me.

Feeling good, and now I have a day off tomorrow, so I have enough time to get ready for my next match.
