Russell Westbrook

Charlotte, North Carolina

Q. Russell, what's your favorite NBA All-Star moment?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: Probably my first one. Just played my first game back in L.A. That was probably my first one.

Q. How important do you feel it is to support Colin Kaepernick?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: I think it's important to support someone that's fighting for something right. Everybody has their own opinion. Me personally, I definitely support him and his struggle to get back into the NFL.

Q. What's your favorite basketball movie?

Q. Do you have any favorite moment that you remember about Michael Jordan?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: For me personally or just in general? I mean, honestly, me and M.J. every time -- talking to M.J. every time is always surreal for me. No particular moment. So I constantly don't take those moments for granted.

Q. Talk about your relationship with Paul George.
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: We're just taking it one day at a time, find ways to better each other, find ways to improve each other's game, and find ways to impact winning and find ways for the team to get better.

Q. Who's the most underrated player in the league?

Q. On John Wall:
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: You know, I don't know. I know he would want to be playing. I'm not sure what he's going through. He's going to take one day at a time and find a way to get back to himself. Me knowing John, and that's all I know.

Q. Your assist numbers here, what can you say helps?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: I don't know if there's a favorite assist, but just making the right play. That's all I can say.

Q. What are the keys for Oklahoma City moving forward?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: Just continue to do what we're supposed to do defensively and find ways to keep winning.

Q. What's been your biggest moment in this league?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: I don't know. Probably just being drafted in this league was a huge moment for me.

Q. What did it take to average a triple-double for the season?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: First, just extremely blessed, that's number one. Number two, just staying focused on my goal and task at hand, and understanding how important it was to be able to focus and do all the right things to get to where I'm at today.

Q. Did you go to a Boys & Girls Club?

Q. What was that like?
RUSSELL WESTBROOK: It was great. Taught me a lot of things, how to interact and how to learn from different people, from different schools, from different areas of L.A. It was a great experience.
