Ariya Jutanugarn

Shanghai, China

Q. Ariya, how enjoyable was that round out there today?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I did enjoy it. I have so much fun because the weather is -- out there it's getting windy, so I didn't expect anything.

Q. You played beautifully? You have to explain to us. We see you hit some shots and you take your hand off the club on the way through. Many of us think, Oh, no, she's hit a bad shot, but you stripped it down the middle. Tell us what's going on there.
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I did it a lot. I thought I missed it, but it was pretty good.

Q. Rooming this week with your sister, Moriya, who says you might be one of the best golfers in the world, but you're a bit messy in the bedroom.
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Don't trust whatever she say. Just don't trust her. (Laughter.)

Q. Okay. You must be extremely pleased going into this Asian swing. You've been playing incredibly well. What's been the key?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: You know, I always have so much fun when I play in Asia. Really looking forward to come back here again. What the key I think just not expect anything. Just go out have fun and enjoy everything.

Q. You're known for your long game. When you look at your stats, it's your putting. You are No. 1 in putts per green in regulation. What's been the big improvement in your putting?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I'm going to say my coach help me a lot. He been helping me a lot because I'm struggle few month this year and he help me from that.

Q. What does he say to you to get you on track?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Actually I always thought something wrong with my stroke, but actually not. I just have to work on speed, read the greens.

Q. Ariya, you're the leader here at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. How did today's round feel for you?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Feel pretty good. Today is pretty windy, pretty tough condition because like everything getting like firm. Overall pretty good.

Q. You played with Shanshan today. What was that like?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I haven't played with her for so long. We have so much fun today. We talk a lot. We have so much fun because like we both really chilling, not really aggressive on the course. We talk all the time. So much fun.

Q. Have you done anything fun in Shanghai this week?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Yeah, I went into the city on Monday and I love it. I mean, I keep eating like 10:00 until 8:00 at night.

Q. Do you find some delicious Thai restaurant in Shanghai?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: No, not yet. Which one a good one I can go?

Q. What's the difference between playing in China versus Korea last week?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Not much different. I mean, I always really enjoy Asia. I love Korea, and of course my first time in Shanghai. I love it here. I would love to come back here.

Q. Any highlight today, maybe birdies?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I did have three birdie in a row on 4, 5, 6. That my highlight today.

Q. Do you have any big goals for the rest of the year? What are you hoping to accomplish?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I think I'm in a good position of like win some award. I don't know. I think I'm just going to focus on the thing I can control and don't think about the outcome.

Q. (Regarding the difference playing Blue Bay and in Shanghai.)
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Actually, when I play in Blue Bay I haven't went out so I don't really know how the city is, but when I'm here I went out every day.

Q. (Indiscernible.)
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I think, but I'm not sure. I think first time I play with both of them together.

Q. Any funny things happen?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Not really funny thing, but we really enjoy because I play with Park a lot this year, but I haven't played with Shanshan. We have fun.
