Q. Caden, just talk about your performance, two touchdowns. What was kind of clicking for you in this one? The whole receiver group really.
CADEN HIGH: I would say I started the game off kind of slow. I felt like the safeties were kind of playing a little bit lower, so I would say when Nico started, you know what I'm saying, making good grabs and making contested catches, it opened up the whole offense. Just trusting in Davis and being patient and waiting on my turn.
Q. How huge was it to get Nico -- Nico played a little bit last week, but was more limited. This year was a full go. How huge was it for your unit to have him out there?
CADEN HIGH: Nico is a dog. Just looking to my left, looking to my right, just seeing him on the field, seeing 23 out there is just giving me inspiration to go, and just having somebody out there that can consistently make plays, and you know what I'm saying, be the guy for the program.
It was obviously a blessing just seeing him out there today.
Q. Just your thoughts on Davis and just the connection you guys continue to build with him, yeah?
CADEN HIGH: Davis threw for 400 yards today, so you know what I'm saying, the proof is in the pudding. He's been doing what he's been doing every week. He's consistent. He makes throws. He makes the right reads. He hasn't turned the ball over.
I can't really say too much. He threw for 400 yards, so the proof is in the pudding when it comes to Davis. You know what you're going to get out of him each and every week.
Q. The first three games of the season there were definitely some struggles for Stanford coming out of the locker room in the second half. Things flipped today, a 24-0 run in the second half. What really sparked that for you guys?
CADEN HIGH: I would go back to last week. We ended the first half with a touchdown, and we were down 7 points, and we came out, I feel like, flat. We didn't take advantage of the first 8, which is the first 8 minutes of the second half.
I think this week we took advantage of that. We came out fast. We put points on the board. We allowed our defense to get some rest and not constantly be on the field and get tired. So I think us just starting fast and just trusting in what the coaches are calling and just executing it to the best way we can possible.
