Media Conference
Q. How are you looking at the season?
MALEVY LEONS: A lot of joy to be honest. It's been cool getting to play in the NBA and getting the opportunity, like just playing against like really good players overall. I feel like mostly last year I played in garbage time, and I feel like I could play meaningful minutes this year.
It's been a great experience overall.
Q. Did this experience give you more confidence with your game going forward?
MALEVY LEONS: Definitely. I could test myself again and measure up the best of competition. Now I have a better idea of where I've got to work on and how to grow.
Q. What's next for you in this off-season?
MALEVY LEONS: Work on my physical abilities in the summer, try to gain a little more weight, build some muscle and work on my shot in the off-season.
Q. Have you talked to the Warriors front office about your future here or anything along those lines?
MALEVY LEONS: Yeah, just working in the summer and seeing what's next for next year.
Q. What part of your game do you want to continue to grow? What do you think grew the most this season?
MALEVY LEONS: Just my offensive ability, like being better at knocking down open 3-pointers and being a little more physical, just being stronger overall.
Q. What's the status of your wrist injury at this point?
MALEVY LEONS: It's getting better. Hopefully I can let it rest now for a couple of weeks, and I can be fully healthy again.
Q. Do you know if you're going to have to go through surgery on that?
MALEVY LEONS: No, don't have to go through surgery or anything. Just got to let it rest and properly heal all the way.
Q. What's your plan this off-season?
MALEVY LEONS: I think I'm going back to Bradley for a little bit, the college I went to, and then going to be here for the most part of the summer.
Q. Is there anything you learned from being around the vets, like Steph, Dray, and Jimmy, that you felt was helpful?
MALEVY LEONS: I think they're really big on player accountability, and I think it's like a player-led organization and just how they hold themselves accountable and each other. It's something I want to grow to, just being a master of my craft in a way.
Yeah, I think that's one of the biggest things I learned and seen.
Q. Are you one of the biggest players in Bradley history?
MALEVY LEONS: Hersey Harkins is definitely the best.
Q. Patrick O'Bryant?
MALEVY LEONS: Oh, Patrick O'Bryant, yes. You've got better knowledge than me.
