Q. Jeff, what happened in this game today?

JEFF TRAYLOR: Really evenly played game. The touchdown turnover was a killer. You know, they kept the ball from us quite a bit and we did get a couple stops there, but it was really good ballgame.

Just the way Army plays. They did a great job of executing and we did at times and didn't at times.

Q. What happened after the game when there was a little skirmish between the two teams?

JEFF TRAYLOR: Just an emotional ballgame. That's about it.

Q. We had talked about the undefeated home record against conference opponents. What are the emotions like and the reaction to having that come to an end today?

JEFF TRAYLOR: Yeah, they're crushed. There are 23 seniors. Not the way they visualized going out.

Q. You talked about in previous matchups against Army how costly those fourth down situations were. They hit a couple of those again today. What's the reaction to that or the level of frustration that comes with seeing them convert those?

JEFF TRAYLOR: It's pretty frustrating. No doubt. Pretty frustrating.

Q. It seemed like there were two big plays that kind of swung the game. The 81-yard touchdown rush and the interception for touchdown. What do you think you'll see on those two plays when you go back and watch the film?

JEFF TRAYLOR: They did a good job blocking our pitch responsibility and we didn't get off the block very well and did a poor angle. 15 is a really good ball player. He just sailed the throw. Just overthrew it.

Q. Your offense started pretty hot in this game and things got a little bit more difficult. Were there some adjustments that were made defensively or what led to that?

JEFF TRAYLOR: We weren't as accurate throwing the ball as we have been to be very honest, and he got going in the second half. Had a little spell where he was a little high for while. We had four possessions, I mean, it's just different.

Q. You guys had not faced a tight game in a close finish like this in a while. How do you feel about the way the group answered that moment in the different stages?

JEFF TRAYLOR: We fought. We were down 10 going into the fourth and rallied and took the lead. They executed an unbelievable drive to take the lead back and we didn't execute when we had to.

Q. And now going forward, how does a result like this change what the next month or so with bowl prep, what the stakes of that game will be?

JEFF TRAYLOR: You control what you can control. I mean, there is no reason to do all the stuff ya'll about to go do. We got look at the video and get better, figure out who our ballgame is going to be and see who is going to play in it and see who is healthy.

That's what we'll do.

Q. I know it's hard after a tough losses, immediately after a tough loss like this, but how do you think you'll look back on the regular season?

JEFF TRAYLOR: Frustrating. It was frustrating year. So, yeah, frustrating.
