Marco Farfan

Press Conference

Los Angeles FC 2, Real Salt Lake 1

Q. Can you just walk us through the emotions of this game? Bob talked about the mentality of the group and how you were able to keep pushing till the end and get that win.

MARCO FARFAN: For sure, a lot of positives but a lot of things to work on, as well, the counterattack, but the mentality of the group going into the game was very positive and confident and even when we got scored on, we knew we could get the win especially at home. So we kept pushing and we didn't let our guard down.

Q. It's one of those risks that you guys take when you do that style of play, what are those things you feel you need to get better moving forward?

MARCO FARFAN: Yeah, like I said, it was that little moment on a counterattack. It wasn't like they created a lot of chances. It was just the counterattack that they scored on and if we manage that better, we can stop that attack and stop that goal and get a clean sheet, especially at home. We were able to get clean sheets at home, and we can get clean sheets away, as well.

Q. What can you say about Carlos as the leader trying to push and open up a game like this?

MARCO FARFAN: Yeah, no matter who it is, we're all going to make mistakes. We're all going to have ups and downs during the game and I just think that the whole team was behind him all the way. He missed the PK. That happened. The keeper made a good safe. You're not going to make every single PK. We just kept pushing and we were able to get the result.
